This will be the first retrospective of the Dorothea Tanning’s work in 25 years featuring 100 works from across the world. Her paintings span 70 years, wherein she worked in surrealist and abstract styles. After her marriage to Max Ernst in 1946, she began to explore more sexual and eerie themes in her work.

The exhibition will include Tanning’s paintings and fabric sculptures.
